Every year, Ayla’s Acres receives countless phone calls from individuals requesting help in rehoming their dog or cat because of unaffordable veterinary bills. These pet parents love their animals so much they are willing to give them up in the hope their fur-baby will receive proper medical treatment. The need is great…and continues to grow.
In an effort to fulfill this increasing need Ayla’s Acres has formed a Community Care Program. Individuals and businesses contribute to a designated fund that is used specifically for community members facing insurmountable veterinary costs. In 2024, Ayla’s Acres provided over $30,000 in community veterinary assistance. This is in addition to the veterinary expenses we cover for the animals in our care. Service we have provided include orthopedic surgeries, general surgeries, advanced dental procedures, heart issues, cancer treatments, heart worm treatments, and more. Our Community Care Program allows beloved pets to stay with their families while receiving necessary veterinary care.
As all expenses rise, the need for funding rises too. We would like to help every pet owner who contacts us with an animal needing unaffordable veterinary care. YOU can help Ayla’s Acres reach this goal!

On Jan. 26th Ayla's Acres experienced a tragic fire at their sanctuary leaving the animals in need of foster home relocation, medicine and other supplies. To help recoup, regional and local musicians have come together to raise funds for Ayla’s
ALL DOOR DONATIONS, BEER AND WINE SALES, AND ALL TIPS WILL BE 100% DONATED TO AYLA’S ACRES!!

Our thrift store is 7 days a week! We have fresh inventory every week. Lots of furniture, clothing, kitchen items, household items, artwork, pet stuff, and more.
Visit us Monday thru Saturday 10am to 5pm, and Sundays 12-5pm.
We are located at 411 Anastasia Blvd, St. Augustine, FL 32080 - across from Mellow Mushroom.
