Ayla's Acres No-Kill Animal Rescue, Inc.
Providing Love, Security, and Dignity to North Florida's Homeless and Neglected Animals
In Northeast and North Central Florida, thousands of animals are euthanized every year. Shelters and animal control facilities are overcrowded with homeless, abandoned, and abused animals. And the task of remedying these concerns seems daunting at best.
About Ayla’s Acres Rescue
We are tackling the problem one animal at a time. Ayla’s Acres No-Kill Animal Rescue is a St. Augustine, Florida-based 501(c)(3) supporting adoption, spay and neuter, and responsible care of animals. Along with education, outreach, and adoption and fostering programs, Ayla’s Acres also maintains a 45-acre sanctuary where “unadoptable” animals may live out their lives with peace, love, and dignity.
Fundraising Efforts
Ayla's Acres receives no government funding.

We take a 3-step approach to rescuing and rehoming our animals.
RESCUE
Providing Love, Security, and Dignity to Homeless and Neglected Animals.
In Northeast and North Central Florida, thousands of dogs and cats are euthanized every year. Shelters and animal control facilities are overcrowded with homeless, abandoned, and abused animals. And the task of remedying these concerns seems daunting at best.
Most of our animals are owner surrender because of death, divorce, or serious life changes. Other animals enter the program as a result of abandonment or neglect.
FOSTER
Before Every Forever Home There Is a Foster Family!
Ayla’s Acres No-Kill Animal Rescue is a foster-based rescue. Our rescues live with a foster family until adopted. We feel that housing our animals awaiting adoption with foster families gives them a chance to receive the love, security, and stability that they will find in their forever home. Quite simply, a foster is preparing an animal for its “happily ever after.”
