April 8, 2020

As everyone knows, COVID-19 has changed our community and its ability to operate under normal circumstances.  Ayla’s Acres is no exception to these challenges.

Out of love and concern for our volunteers, customers, and community, Ayla’s Acres has chosen to temporarily close our Thriftique in the heart of downtown St. Augustine, FL.  Although this was the most responsible decision we could make, it comes with a loss of income.

The funds generated by our Thriftique allow us to give veterinary care, food, and basic needs for the 59 foster animals we currently have in our system and supports our 45-acre Sanctuary that provides full-time care for 130 animals, including horses, donkeys, goats, dogs, cats, birds and more.

If you have ever adopted an animal, then you know first-hand what special bond humans create with their fur-babies.  They genuinely become part of the family! That is why we urgently need your help.

No one could fully predict the effects COVID-19 would have on our community, but with YOUR HELP, Ayla’s Acres will continue providing love, dignity, and security to homeless, ill and injured animals. Ayla’s Acres No-Kill Animal Rescue does not receive government-subsidized funds and relies solely on donations from generous individuals like yourself.

That is why we are reaching out to our animal-loving community!  We know this is a difficult time for many in our community. So we ask, if you are able, to consider making a tax-deductible donation to Ayla’s Acres today by clicking on the link below.

The animals and volunteers of Ayla’s Acres THANK YOU for your support and generosity during this challenging time.
